17. Soft focus effect
First, in the filter tab I converted the image for smart filters. Then I used a Gaussian Blur on the image. I also chose screen in the options of the layer to make the image brighter. I created a layer mask and used the airbrush thumbnail in the brush tool options to outline LeBron's eyes, NBA logo, jersey letters and number, and tattoos to make it stand out. Finally, I lowered the opacity to give it more glow.
18. USB flash drive
To make this flash drive I used Adobe Illustrator. In this lesson I learned how to use the offset to make a shape within a shape and change its colors. I learned how to create shapes by using the Rectangular tool, ellipse tool, and the Rounded rectangle tool. Finally, I learned how to put things in the back or in the front of the image.
20. Phone
In this lesson I learned how to duplicate something in whatever quantity. In Adobe Illustrator I was able to take one of those buttons and duplicate it in 4 rows and 3 columns. I also learned how to take a shape and create another shape of my choice within it by turning the shape into a graph of dots and adjusting the image. Finally, I learned how to add an outer glow to a shape.
21a. intro to sketch up
In order to create this I used the circle, rectangle and the triangle tool to create the shapes.
21b. push & pull
To make this I used the push & pull button on the shapes in 21a.
21c. bubble letters
To create this I used the skills aquired in lesson 21a and c. I used the rectangular tool and the arc tool to make my name. After I did the shape I used the push & pull tool to make the name pop out.
22. blocks with precise dimensions
To make these shapes I first created a rectangle and used the push & pull tool to make it 3D. Then I used the Tape Measure Tool to measure certain line segments to make it equal to the desired dimension. Then I used the push & pull tool to take away the certain piece and make a new shape. Also I used the dimension tool to measure the length of each line segment to be accurate. Finally, I added primary and secondary colors using the paint bucket tool; if there is a slope the shapes on the sides are the primary colors and the slope is the secondary color that the two primary colors create.
23. Bungalow House
To make my bungalow house, first I set up the isometric axis a certain length then created the shape of the house. To add the roof I used the protractor tool to measure the angle in which the roof will be then created the shape of it with the line tool. Also I used the offset tool to create the sliding doors and to make the specific shape of the door. For the backyard fence I made a rectangle then for ever 1 inch I made smaller rectangle and used the push & pull to take it off. To make the shape for the fence of the house, I made two rectangles and one triangle. Finally, for the designed I used the paint bucket tool.
24. 3D glasses viewing
To make this 3D view of my bungalow house I first found an image on google of a street and opened it in Photoshop. Then I opened the isometric view of my bungalow house in Photoshop and pasted it on the right side of the street. To make the 3D effect I duplicated the house layer and moved it out a bit. Then I made the channel colors on one layer only red and on the other only green and blue to give it the 3D look. Finally, put on 3D glasses and the image will pop out!
25. Animation via frames
To make this glowing button I used the Photoshop app. First I created two circles with the ellipse tool to give the shape of the button. In the smaller circle I added a certain gradient overlay and stroke to give it the "aluminum" look. Then I added the two filters, noise and radial blur, to give it the "spirally" look. After this I added a power symbol to image and customized the blending options to give it a certain color. Then I grouped all the layers and duplicated it. I customized the duplicate layer a certain way in the blending options to make the button glow red. Then I turned on the animation mode in Photoshop. In animation made I used the tween button to duplicate the two layers into 7 individual layers (colors go from grey to red, every layer is a different shade and the 1st one is grey and the 7th red, in between are the shades). Finally, I duplicated these 7 individual layers and reversed the frame.
26. Test- iPhone 5S showcase

To make my showcase of the iPhone 5S I first I used the rectangular marquee to create a black rectangle. Then, I turned on the ruler and the snap options to create guide lines the match the sides of the rectangle. After that I deleted the rectangle and only the guides were left. Then I used the rectangle tool to make the ceiling, the left and right walls, the floor and the middle wall. Then I used the perspective tool in the transform tab to give the room the diagonal shape (create the depth). Then, I customized the ceiling, walls, and floor a certain layer style to give it this certain color. After that, I used the ellipse tool to create the shape of the light. Then, I customized the blending options to give it the glossy metallic look. Also I made a white oval circle inside the shape to give it the white light look. Then, I used the Ellipse Marquee tool and the Guassian Blur tool to make the reflections of the light. Also I used the Polygonal Lasso tool and linear gradient to show the light coming from the ceiling (with a layer mask). Then I grouped the layers and duplicated it to create two more light sources. Finally, I found pictures in Google of the iPhone 5S in three different colors and pasted it under the light.
